BEFIRST Claims No. 1 Spot on Billboard Japan Hot 100 Chart
INI, Yuuri, and Back Number Round Out Top 5
BTS Debuts at No. 7 with "SCIENTIST"
According to Billboard Japan, BEFIRST has dethroned previous chart-topper Ado with their single "Bye-Good-Bye" to claim the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart for the week of December 15-21, 2021.
The weekly ranking combines physical and digital sales, audio streams, radio airplay, YouTube views, and karaoke data to determine the most popular songs in Japan. INI's "Rocketeer" holds the No. 2 spot, followed by Yuuri's "Dry Flower" at No. 3 and Back Number's "Gunjou" at No. 5.
BTS makes their debut on the chart at No. 7 with "SCIENTIST," their latest Japanese single. The song debuted at No. 25 the previous week and has climbed to the top 10 in its second week on the chart.
