Accelerating AI Adoption through Education and Support
Technology giant Google has launched an online Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy for Pakistani youth, aiming to empower them with the knowledge and resources to lead the country's startup ecosystem. Through this initiative, Google Cloud and Tech Valley are providing support and training to early-stage startups focused on AI-based technologies.
Nurturing a Hub of AI Excellence
Pakistan's National Hub of AI Excellence (NCAI) is a key partner in this initiative, showcasing the country's potential to become a leader in AI research, product development, and commercialization. The academy's inaugural competition served as a launchpad for innovation, attracting a wide range of creative solutions in various industry verticals.
Empowering Startups with AI Expertise
The AI Academy will support over 20 startups that are leveraging AI to create transformative products and services. These startup founders will receive hands-on guidance from Google experts, access to cutting-edge AI tools and technologies, and mentorship from industry leaders.
Building a Vibrant AI Ecosystem
With nearly 92 startups in Pakistan already actively working with AI, the AI Academy aims to further strengthen the country's AI ecosystem. By fostering talent, supporting innovation, and promoting collaboration, Google hopes to empower Pakistani youth to become active contributors to the rapidly evolving tech industry.
