Borderlands 3: Surprise Update Adds Accessibility Options for Steam Deck Users
Quality-of-Life Features Include Max Level Character Option
Gearbox Software has released a surprise update for Borderlands 3, adding accessibility options specifically tailored for Steam Deck users. The update also introduces a number of quality-of-life improvements, including the ability for players to create a Max Level Character from the main menu once they have beaten the game.
New Accessibility Options
The new accessibility options in Borderlands 3 for Steam Deck users include:
- Adjustable font size
- High-contrast mode
- Colorblind mode
- Motion blur reduction
These options can be accessed from the game's settings menu.
Max Level Character Option
The new Max Level Character option allows players to create a character that starts at level 72, the maximum level in Borderlands 3. This option is available from the main menu once players have beaten the game. Players can then use their Max Level Character to enter Mayhem 10 sessions and acquire level 72 versions of weapons and gear.
