Team USA Defeats Serbia in Dramatic Comeback

First Quarter Lead

Team USA fell behind early, with Serbia taking a 17-point lead in the first quarter. However, the American team rallied back, outscoring Serbia 33-15 in the second quarter to tie the game at 48-48 heading into halftime.

Second Half Comeback

In the second half, Team USA continued to chip away at Serbia's lead. With just over 5 minutes remaining in the game, Stephen Curry hit a three-pointer to give the United States a 85-84 lead. Serbia tied the game with a free throw, but Curry answered back with another three-pointer to put Team USA up for good. The United States held on to win the game 95-91.

Curry Leads the Charge

Stephen Curry was the driving force behind Team USA's comeback. He finished the game with a team-high 29 points, including 7 three-pointers. LeBron James also played a key role, scoring 23 points and grabbing 9 rebounds.

Gold Medal Game Ahead

With the win, Team USA advances to the gold medal game, where they will face the winner of the Australia vs. Slovenia semifinal matchup. The gold medal game will be played on Sunday, August 10th.
